Hiya I'm Kirsty. I'm a 35-year-old mum to my 12 yr old daughter and granny to our dogs Star & Buddy.  I'm a massive animal lover with lots of experience with all types of pets especially dogs, big or small, quiet or mad!  I'm continuously studying in dog psychology and use these skills to help owners with different problems arising in their dogs, it's amazing to see these techniques work and the positive changes it can bring into the dogs and sometimes the owners lives too.

Just Walking The Dogs was set up by myself to cover the Livingston area, and help to supply the increasing demand for a caring, professional and trustworthy service to assist loving owners in looking after their pets.

We provide an all round service for all pet owners, services include – dog walking, dog training, home visiting and vet taxi. We cater for all pets, not just dogs.  Unfortuanately due to my dog Buddy having elbow displacia in both front legs I cannot provide a pet sitting service for the forseeable future, he needs complete rest as he grows and getting friends round just makes him want to play.

Just Walking The Dogs has been very successful so far and I'm delighted to say it has been up and running since June 2005 with most new business coming from recommendations from existing clients and local vets. It's definitely the most rewarding job I've ever had, even the day I had my finger tip bitten off by a very frustrated dog hasn't managed to put me off. It's just made me more determined to get out there and educate people and help to change these bad habits our best friends sometimes adopt so we have more balanced dogs in the community helping to hopefully stop someone else going through the trauma of a dog attack.  It also allows me to continue spending time with these amazing animals, definitely my best friends.

We love to be out walking with the dogs and are never put off by the weather. It's always an adventure, even jumping/falling into rivers to get the dogs out, being scratched and bitten from climbing through bushes and being constantly covered in mud has it's funny side, we definitely have lots of fun!!!.

We have the required Insurance in place and all helpers are fully vetted and police checked for your piece of mind.  Proof of these, feedback forms and phone numbers of existing clients can be presented at our first meeting.
